Woolworths have been marching across the country putting up big box supermarkets with little regard for local community or sentiment in recent years. This powerful corporation is acting like a bully.

A National Issue

Woolworths are not getting the message that slapping up big boxes without considering local conditions is destroying the fabric of many communities and our built environment.

This is a national issue. Woolworths are leaching the character and individuality out of localities, painting them all with the same brush, rendering them bland and soulless. When places like Newport are desecrated, Australia's value as a tourist destination is eroded.
